The CV-19 lockdown has been quirt a doozie. Like most people, I have been binging on Netflix and HBO for the past two months. I'm partial to crime dramas. Here are a couple of my personal favorites:
In many of these shows (not those above specifically), the detectives have nearly flawless decision-making. And, they always get the bad guy, they always save the day, they are all heroes. My webventure drew inspiration from the MacGruber SNL skit. McGravy is not only an anti-hero, he is also a serial failure. McGravy is easily distracted and acts without considering any consequences. Invariably, he finds himself in dire circumstances. His good intentions are always met with overly exaggerated repercussions. Know that he doesn't deserve this fate. He brings balance to a universe championed by characters like special agents Jack Bauer, Jack Ryan, and Jethro Gibbs.
The webventure is narrated. The sarcastic tone of the narration adds levity to the seriousness of the situations in which McGravy finds himself. The hidden Easter eggs further serve to lighten the mood. No hints.
